The background story on the "battle of the favorites":
When I was introduced to my in-laws, I quickly caught on to this cute habit they had of arguing who was the "family favorite"... a sibling rivalry game that my husband and his sister have been playing since they were children. Each would claim to be "the favorite" and my mother-in-law would outwardly admit to all, which one of them was actually favorited. At first, I cringed when the non-favorite was blatantly deemed unworthy, but as time passed I realized that the title of "favorite" would swap frequently, depending on who was the nicest or had done something to benefit the family most recently. So while someone may not be favorited at any given moment, it wasn't a hard title to regain with a little effort.
It's easy to transition this label into every day "favorites". Labeling products, activities or locations as our current favorite will cultivate a catalog and history of our all time favorties. I hope our favorites soon become yours as well.

Named after one of Drogon's dragon brothers in Game of Thrones. Rhaegal is the nicest cat in the world!
Drogon
6yo Tuxedo Cat (m)
Named after the largest and most feared of Daenerys Targaryen's three dragons in the Game of Thrones series. Drogon is the neighborhood boss cat who will personally escort his family around the hood.
Ashoka (aka Kitten)
3yo Siamese Cat (f)
Named after the Star Wars character Ashoka Tano whose face markings were too similar to ignore. A rescue cat who's a bit skittish, but a beloved member of the family.
